This Privacy Policy explains what information Aalix Studio ("Aalix", "we", "us") collects when you visit aalixstudio.com, contact us, or use the Studio Concierge chat on our website, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Aalix Studio is a design studio working across fashion and apparel, game art and 3D, and digital design and branding. For anything about this policy or your information, email us at contact@aalixstudio.com.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to send us:

• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Studio Concierge chat: the messages you type into the chat window.
• Inquiry form in the chat: your name, email address, brand or company, the service you are interested in, your message, and a transcript of your conversation with the chat assistant, which is sent with your inquiry so we have its context.
• Email: anything you include when you write to us directly.

Please don't send sensitive information, such as health details or payment card numbers, through the website or the chat.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how far people scroll, the type of device and browser, the referring website and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Until you do, and if you decline, it is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, it sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information about requests to the website, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Fonts and images. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and images from our content platform's image service (Sanity). Like any website you load files from, these services receive your IP address and basic browser information.
• Browser storage. We keep your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every visit, and a small marker in session storage so the opening animation and the chat prompt are shown only once per visit. Neither contains personal information.

How we use your information

• To reply to your inquiry, discuss your project and prepare proposals.
• To run the Studio Concierge chat and generate its replies.
• To understand how the website is used, so we can improve its content and design.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

The Studio Concierge chat

Replies in the Studio Concierge chat are generated automatically by an AI assistant, not written by a person in real time, and may occasionally be inaccurate. Your messages are processed by our technology partner Nova Creative to generate those replies. If you submit the inquiry form in the chat, your details and the chat transcript are sent to the client-management system Nova Creative operates for us, so our team can follow up.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you, and only for those purposes:

• Netlify: website hosting, form handling and notification emails.
• Sanity: our content platform, which also stores contact form submissions.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google Fonts.
• Nova Creative: the chat assistant, and the client-management system that receives inquiries from the contact form and the chat.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or others.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and our business records. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your choices and rights

• Analytics: choose Accept or Decline in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Declining removes existing analytics cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Access, correction and deletion: email contact@aalixstudio.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.

Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you may have additional rights, such as to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy of your information in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond to requests within the time required by applicable law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at contact@aalixstudio.com and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other services, such as our social media profiles, YouTube and Spotify. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
